Verch was born July 29, 1926, in Stratford to Albert L. and Lena Bill Verch of Marshfield and Jack (Joyce) Verch of Pennock, Minn. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents; his wife; a son, James Robert; three brothers and two sisters. Condolences may be sent online to www.rembsth.com Rose Gross Rose Gross, 82, recently of the town of McMillan, passed away on Monday, April 21, 2008, at The House of the Dove.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Fisher Farm in Omaha, Neb. A memorial service in Marshfield will be arranged at a later date. Rembs Funeral Home is assisting the family with the arrangements. Rose was born Sept.

26, 1925, in Omaha, to Morris and Sarah Epstein. She was the youngest of four children and the first to be born in the United States. During her formative years, Rose was active in the choir at Beth El Synagogue. She was on the swim team at Central High School, and was an avid participant in theater productions. She worked at Strategic Air Command in Omaha after high school.

She was married to Joel M. Gross in 1945 until his death in 2001. Rose's life after marriage was marked by a series of moves for her husband's job. She left friends in all the diverse places she resided, New Orleans, Cleveland, Ohio, Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Los Angeles, and Vista, Calif. Golf became her pas- Ellsworth Verch sion.

She was one of the founding members of the W.A.G.A. and its first president. She loved all sports, and even after she could no longer participate, loved to watch golf, baseball, tennis and ice-skating. The past year was very hard for her. She had to move away from her home in California and give up her car and driving.

But she moved in to her daughter's home, and got to know her grandchildren well, as well as her son-in-law, which gave her great pleasure. She will be missed by her daughter, Jody Gross (Goldberg), her son-in-law, Jerry Goldberg, grandsons Benjamin, Eli and Jacob Goldberg; her brother, Simon Epstein and her sister, Ida Richards; as well as the many friends and relatives she leaves behind. Donations may be sent in her honor to either the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or Mt. Sinai Congregation in Wausau. The family would like to express sincere thanks to the staff of 8 North, the House of the Dove, and Drs.

The Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home of Abbotsford is assisting the family with arrangements. Becky was born July 19, 1960, in Athens, to Ralph and Betty (Hausted) Ahnberg. On Dec. 14, 1986, Becky married James Van Over in Medina, Ohio. She began working as a registered nurse at the former Milwaukee County Medical Complex in Wauwatosa.

They moved to the Colby area where she began work at the Colonial Center in Colby as an RN. Becky is survived by James Van Over; her two children, Marshall, 11, and Elizabeth, two sisters, Heidi (Tom) Wetmore, Silver Spring, and Gayle (Gary) Hursh, Sacramento, Calif. Jeanette Hewitt WISCONSIN RAPIDS Jeanette "Momzie" Hewitt, 75, died at the home of her daughter, Debra Schroer, Wisconsin Rapids, on Tuesday, April 15, 2008. Committal services were at 11 a.m. April 18 at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in the town of Grand Rapids.

5, 1995. She owned and operated the Hewitt Cranberry Co. in the Plainfield area. Siblings are Dakota Ortiz, 3, and Ashton Kirchner, 3. Grandparents are Jim and Sharon Boushack, Spencer, and Sean and Jannel Staver, Marshfield. A daughter, Sydney Celine Lezotte, was born April 20, 2008, at Saint Joseph's Hospital to Suzanne and Jeremy Lezotte of Marshfield.

Siblings are Ethan, Alexander and Zachary Lezotte. Grandparents are Steven Thimmesch, Marshfield, and Douglas and Claudean Lezotte, Neillsville. A son, Oliver John Young, was born April 18, 2008, at Saint Joseph's Hospital to Autumn and Drew Young of Marshfield. He joins a brother, Gage. James and Cheryl Young, Weston. A daughter, Elizabeth Rose Aumann, was born April 16, 2008, at Saint Joseph's Hospital to Breanne Soviak and Jonathan Aumann of Weston. A son, Jonathan Zion Hanson, was born April 10, 2008, at Saint Joseph's Hospital to Audrey and Patrick Hanson of Marshfield. He joins siblings, Lucas, Emily, Isaac and Josiah. Grandparents are Richard and June Severson, Loyal, and Doug and Diane Hanson, Marshfield.

Greatgrandparents are Ed and Della Nowak, Hewitt, Helen and Lester Severson, Loyal, Pierce and Carol Owens, Arizona City, Alice Hanson, Hewitt, and the late Hanford Hanson. A daughter, Madelyn Rose Stein, was born April 19, 2008, at Saint Joseph's Hospital to Heather and Dave Stein of Stratford. A daughter, Meadow Larai Schmidt, was born April 21, 2008, at Saint Joseph's Hospital to Tricia and Mark Schmidt of Stratford. She joins brothers, Hawkens, 3, and Hunter, 17 months. Grandparents are Jerry and Lovanne Flink, Colby, Bart and Deb Serwe, Stratford, and Jerry and Sandy Powell, Cincinnati, Ohio.

A son, Brady Lee Underwood, was born April 21, 2008, at Saint Joseph's Hospital to Jody and Shane Underwood of Colby. He joins siblings, Dylan, 10, and Megan, 8. A daughter, Grace Rose Enerson, was born April 20, 2008, at Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital to Scott and Lisa Enerson of Prairie du Sac. She joins siblings, Brittany, Daniel, Simon and Phillip.
